Mavora ("the app", "we") is a personal finance and cheque-management app built to keep your data private. This policy explains what the app does and does not do with your information.
All the records you create — cheques, transactions, invoices, clients, projects, goals, and settings — are stored locally on your device. We do not have a server that holds your records, and we cannot see them.
When you ask the AI assistant a question, the app sends a computed summary of the relevant figures (for example totals and due dates) together with your question to our processing service, which forwards it to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a written answer. We do not send your raw account access, login details, or your full database. This data is used only to generate your answer in that moment; it is not used to build a profile of you, is not linked to your identity, and is not used to train AI models. If you never use the AI assistant, no financial data leaves your device.
If you enable app lock, authentication is handled entirely by Apple on your device. Your biometric data never reaches us and never leaves your device.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your card or payment details. Apple provides us only with the subscription status needed to unlock features.
If you create a backup, the file is encrypted and saved wherever you choose (such as Files or iCloud). You control that file; we do not have access to it.
Mavora is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Because your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes it. Our AI processing service does not retain your questions or figures after the answer is returned.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new date.
